About Me

If you’re interested in knowing more about me, you should drop by my main blog, “It Was a Very Good Year”!  This is where I post about my family, my thoughts, and everything else.  But in the meantime….

My name is Tatiana, and I’m a 26 year old American woman, living outside of Toronto, with my husband and our two chihuahuas. We’re currently expecting our first child in February 2009. I am finally a legal Canadian resident… just in time for baby!

Here’s the better half, Chris & I. I’m pretty proud to have him as my babydaddy. We’ve been together since July 2004, married since July 2006, and every night I’m still delighted to snuggle into bed alongside him.

This is Buffy, our female chihuahua. I chose this picture because this is EXACTLY how she behaves on a day-to-day basis — in your face, wanting to know EXACTLY what you have going on, and demanding to be snuggled against you at all times.

My sister calls this Buffy’s “green-eyed monster” picture, which is quite apropos. She’s a jealous little critter!

And here’s our little man, Joss. This personifies him — chillin’, balls hangin’ out, showin’ his belly and waiting for you to rub it. If you don’t want to give him a bellyrub, that’s cool too, he’ll catch you later. Now, he’s not always the MOST chill — he thinks he is about ten times bigger than he is, and has no problem letting strange people and dogs know that deep down, he has the power to kick their ass! That said, he’s also a total whiner sometimes, and a complete mama’s boy. And I have to admit, I’m kind of a Joss’ girl.  How I’m going to fit two chihuahuas and a baby on my lap is a dilemma I look forward to addressing!
